The Longest Running Teams of the LCFFFL

There have been 44 different teams that have played in the league. 27 of those teams only lasted for one season. It's a common ritual for owners to change their name each year, however some teams have stayed the same the past couple seasons. Here are the 7 longest running teams of the LCFFFL (active).

Honorable Mention: Cincinnati Zookeepers (2018-2023), 78 Games Played

The Cincinnati Zookeepers is tied for the longest running franchise in the LCFFFL. One of two teams that was a part of the inaugural season and continued on. They played 78 games between 2018-2023. They are officially retired.

Accolades: 1x League Champion Award, 1x Point Differential Leader Award, 1x Point Allowed Leader Award, 3x Season Awards

Overall Record: 38-40 (48.72%)
Overall Points Per Game: 120.56 pts
Overall Differential: 136.14 pts

[Tied-5th] Butters (2022-2024), 42 Games Played

Butters is lead by Matt and has been playing since 2022. Butters has yet to undergo a rebrand and unfortunately has had the worst resume of the longest running teams.

Accolades: No season awards yet.

Overall Record: 18-24 (42.86%)
Overall Points Per Game: 102.97 pts
Overall Differential: -216.80 pts
Playoff Appearances: 2022, 2023
Playoff Record: 1-2

[Tied-5th] Dover Dozers (2022-2024), 42 Games Played

Don't let the Dover Dozers get hot. One of the more fun teams to watch in recent years, the Dover Dozers were established in 2022 and have played every game since. The Dozers lead by Katie, have one of the most infamous playoff runs in league history, has seen decent success in it's 3 seasons.

Accolades: 1x League Champion Award, 1x Points Against Leader Award, 2x Season Awards

Overall Record: 20-22 (47.62%)
Overall Points Per Game: 112.13 pts
Overall Differential: 101.89 pts
Playoff Appearances: 2022, 2023
Playoff Record: 5-1

[Tied-5th] The Storm is a Brewin' (2022-2024), 42 Games Played

Another team that has been playing since 2022, and the first one we are looking at that has broken 0.500.

Accolades: 1x Points Against Leader Award, 1x Season Award

Overall Record: 21-21 (50.00%)
Overall Points Per Game: 109.91 pts
Overall Differential: -194.98 pts
Playoff Appearances: 2023, 2024
Playoff Record: 2-2

[Tied-5th] ChanisAJAGSFAN (2022-2024), 42 Games Played

ChanisAJAGSFAN is the last of the 2022 group and has the best win percentage of those teams. Unfortunately, this team has not seen much success compared to other teams.

Accolades: No season awards yet.

Overall Record: 24-18 (57.14%)
Overall Points Per Game 106.41 pts
Overall Differential 82.96 pts
Playoff Appearances: 2022, 2023
Playoff Record: 0-2

[Tied-3rd] North Dakota Nothin' (2021-2024), 56 Games Played

The North Dakota Nothin' has consistently been a good team in the past couple years, ran by the league's point differential leader, Andrew. While they haven't made it to the championship game, they have an arguably better accolade in taking a Moves Leader Award from Alex.

Accolades: 1x Moves Leader Award, 1x Season Award

Overall Record: 27-29 (48.21%)
Overall Points Per Game: 115.97 pts
Overall Differential: 196.30 pts
(Playoff data is incomplete prior to 2022. Only 2022-2024 data shown.)
Playoff Appearances: 2023, 2024
Playoff Record: 1-2

[Tied-3rd] Kentucky Jellies (2021-2024), 56 Games Played

The Kentucky Jellies are one of the most iconic teams in league history. They have played the last 4 seasons, and are always included in the biggest trades of the season.

Accolades: 3x Moves Leader Awards, 3x Season Awards

Overall Record: 29-27 (51.79%)
Overall Points Per Game: 116.83
Overall Differential: 101.48 pts
(Playoff data is incomplete prior to 2022. Only 2022-2024 data shown.)
Playoff Appearances: 2022, 2024
Playoff Record: 1-2

[1st] Lexington Nick Beaters (2018-2020, 2022-2024) 78 Games Played

This is a weird ruling but is a unique scenario. The Lexington Nick Beaters played 2018-2020, rebranded in 2021, and came back for 2022-2024. I have chosen to acknowledge its prior years as it is a historic team. Unfortunately for the Nick Beaters, the only season awards they won was the one year they were away.

Accolades: No season awards yet.

Overall Record: 36-42 (46.15%)
Overall Points Per Game: 111.48 pts
Overall Differential: -387.02 pts
(Playoff data is incomplete prior to 2022. Only 2022-2024 data shown.)
Playoff Appearances: 2022, 2023, 2024
Playoff Record: 1-3
